As you may have noticed, I've not been on, nor added any deviations as of late. First, my computer crashed, then I did.

May 24th I woke up in severe pain and swelling in my neck and the side of the face. I was unable to sit or stand for long periods of time and as the day went on, the pain worsened.

I will spare you the details of what has and has not taken place over the last 4 weeks of this ordeal, but I will tell you that although the pain is almost non existent, the swelling is still there and I have lost muscle mass in my face. The Drs are unsure of what is wrong and I was to have an angiogram of my neck tomorrow. Just found out that the insurance won't pay for an angiogram without first trying other avenues, so tomorrow I will go in for an ultrasound. Hopefully I will know more then.

Just thought I would drop a line, say hello and tell you I am looking forward to getting back to normal and getting back to my paper!
